This page may be out of date. This can cause a problem where a drum track is involved. It wasn’t reverb I don’t think, because it was continuous, and the noise it made I would not want to accompany!
I don’t know a whole lot about MIDI. As you may have guessed, it’s not working Check your local settings and be sure they are set to “Off”.

It does mention different channels. I am saving what I create as a MIDI file, however, my laptop is not playing them back on my keyboard.
